Pietro brings some of the top class Italian cuisine in New York. They have a world renowned chef and have a variety of mouth watering meals. Being an Italian restaurant in New York is tough, only some survive, but Pietro has been able to thrive.
To create a dynamic experience that differentiates Pietro from the sea of Italian bistros in New York. They also wanted to have some of their dishes featured throughout the website.
Before any project begins, I highlight goals and communicate what the client deems as must-haves/non-negotiables. With long-term growth in mind, I conducted research to determine where the balance was between design choices appealing to potential buyers and current UI/UX best practices. Because the Pietro was already established, I worked off of their business model, while also implementing some newer design trends in order to create a website that looks great and that checked off every box in their list.
The value enhancing design strength comes from the above preliminary research, and with the right answers to the questions I ask– I was able to deliver to the client a custom website that goes along with the already established brand identity, fueled with interactive movement, and is built thoughtfully with today's standards.
